xBasix Projects Homepage

Hello everyone...

..welcome on the xBasix - Homepage. :-)
On this homepage you can find some information about my current projects, some (maybe) usefull source codes and my Games or Graficdemos.

In the moment all available Codes and Downloads are made for and with DarkBASIC Professional (DBP)

DBP is an easy to learn and quite powerful game programming language providing its own 3D Engine.
Though it's sometimes quite limited I like it's perfect ability of rapid prototyping :o)


As the name 'xBasix' surely promises I'm using another, even more powerful language, too. FreeBASIC (FB) is a free, 32-bit BASIC Compiler, based on the old MS-Quick Basic Compiler.
Until now there isn't any code or project worth to release or mention in the next time made with FB.

It's been a long time since I wrote some lines of code with DBP. The new one is nothing great, but it's worth to mention that the whole code was written in Kubuntu :-)

19.10.2007 - Another Huge Site Update

I did some fundamental changes on the design of this page.
The content is still the same. I removed the downloads temporary.
Added the projects section as my current project becomes better and better :)

As some of my project are more and more worth to mention I did a big update on this site.
Today I added the Download Section to provide Executeables for those who don't own DarkBASIC Pro. Although there are only two downloads available in the moment.

The project section comes along with more and more progress of my projects... ;-)

03.05.2007 - Annoying Ads II

Yesterday I saw the first time the annoying Ads of the orgfree webhosting service. Now changed to another free webhoster.
Although there is still advertisement its much easier to come along with it. And 2.5 gb of space isn't the worst. :o)

03.05.2007 - ships v1.0 won the 50 line contest

I'm quite happy about the results of the 50 line competition in the UK forums. Ships brought me the first place. :-)

02.05.2007 - Annoying Ads

OK. First Time I saw my site without the famous Adblock PLUS plugin for Firefox. Those popups are really annoying.
I recommend everyone to use this plugin. :-) Beside this I'll look for another free server with better conditions.

Finally I got this one working. The code just layed months on my hdd until I started to complete it.

It's the next generation of my 2D Metaball Demo somewhere in the UK forums. I think I' going to add the 2D version too..later :-).

Had this site long time on my localhost and found finally a good free server supporting php, mysql and unlimited traffic.

www.orgfree.com is in my eyes a quite good solution. The Ads are reasonable and everthing works just fine.


At this moment only the codes section works.
